Eve is an ivory beach wedding dress designed for fluid movement, soft drape and natural light. Made from glossy crepe satin, the gown has a simple V-neck front, fine spaghetti straps and a flowing A-line skirt with a generous train.

Why Eve Works As A Beach Wedding Dress

A beach wedding dress needs to move well, photograph cleanly in natural light and feel comfortable in an outdoor setting. Eve is cut in glossy crepe satin, giving the gown a fluid surface and soft movement through the skirt. The V-neckline is shaped with subtle bodice panelling, drawing the eye into a gentle V at the waist before the satin falls into a flowing A-line silhouette.

The back gives the dress its contrast. Sheer French Chantilly lace sits low across the back, finished with satin-covered buttons through the centre. Fine spaghetti straps tie into small bows at the shoulders, adding a delicate, unexpected detail to the clean satin shape. The generous train gives Eve presence for the ceremony, while the pared-back front keeps the dress suited to a beach, coastal and outdoor wedding ceremony. Eve is available to try on by appointment at the Anna Schimmel Bridal Shop 5 minutes from Auckland City. During your consultation with the designer, we can look at the fit, movement, train length and styling in relation to your venue, especially if you are planning a beach, coastal or outdoor wedding in New Zealand.
