Elegant Wedding Dress With Sheer Chiffon Sleeves
Rose is designed around soft, understated structure. The matte crepe bodice is fitted cleanly through the waist, with a deep V-neckline at the front and a low V-back. The shape is simple, but the cut gives the gown definition before the skirt falls into movement.
The sheer chiffon sleeves bring softness to the dress. They are lightly gathered through the arm and finished with buttoned cuffs, adding detail without covering the gown heavily. Against the matte crepe, the transparency of the sleeves gives Rose a lighter, more romantic line.
The A-line skirt can be worn with a petticoat for more volume, as shown here, or without one for a slimmer, more fluid silhouette. With the petticoat, Rose has a fuller skirt shape and a more classic bridal proportion. Without it, the gown falls closer to the body, with a softer flowing line and a small train.

Rose is available to try by appointment in Anna Schimmel’s Point Chevalier bridal studio in Auckland. Consultations are personal, private and guided directly by Anna, with time to try different silhouettes and discuss fabric, fit, skirt volume and possible personalisation. If you are drawn to an elegant wedding dress but would like a different neckline, sleeve shape, skirt width or fabric, the design can be adapted. Anna can also create a custom gown from the beginning, using quality bridal fabrics and a cut developed around your proportions.
