A Timeless Wedding Dress for Hannah – The Design
Real bride Hannah had followed our bridal work for some time and came to see Anna with a clear vision: she wanted a timeless wedding dress that felt classic yet unique. She loved the idea of a dramatic back bow and earmarked this as the key detail for her gown.
When trying on wedding dresses at our Auckland studio, Hannah fell in love with Mikado satin. This crisp, structured fabric was perfect for creating a classic A-line gown with volume and elegance. Its subtle sheen and beautiful drape provided the ideal canvas for Hannah’s design.
We built a softly panelled bodice with light boning and delicate straps to ensure a flawless fit. The skirt was a gently flared A-line with plenty of movement for her romantic bridal look. The adjustable tie-back bow was incorporated into the design so the waist could be cinched perfectly, adding that special feature Hannah had hoped for.
