During our first consultation, Amy booked in for a calico toile so we could trial her ideas before confirming her wedding dress booking. A cotton toile is a fitting service I offer before a bride books in for a wedding dress, giving us a chance to test the shape and details in real life. Initially, Amy had chosen one of our collection gowns as the starting point, personalised for her. After that first fitting, which comes with no obligation to continue, I did not hear from her for a while, until she booked a new appointment.
She had tried on gowns all around Auckland and had changed the style she wanted. She was keen for me to help develop her ideas and create the dress she had in mind.
It took a while to get the gown just right, but Amy was patient. And doesn’t she look stunning?
